Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 3, 2026 · Last updated: July 3, 2026
United Angels Insurance Agency, LLC ("United Angels," "AskFelisa," "we," "us," or "our") is a licensed independent insurance agency. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have.
This Privacy Policy applies to askfelisa.com and to information we collect when you contact us by phone, email, in person, or through third-party carrier enrollment platforms we use on your behalf.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, information automatically collected when you use our website, and information from insurance carriers and third parties involved in your quote or enrollment.
Information you give us
- Contact information — name, phone number, email, mailing address, and state of residence.
- Enrollment information — date of birth, Medicare ID (HICN/MBI), Social Security number (when required by a carrier for enrollment), gender, marital status, income, tobacco use, and dependents.
- Health information — prescription drugs, preferred doctors, hospitals, conditions relevant to plan selection. We treat this as Protected Health Information (PHI) under HIPAA.
- Communications — messages, form submissions, voicemails, and recorded calls (where permitted by law and disclosed to you).
Information collected automatically
- IP address, browser type, device information, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps.
- Cookies and similar technologies used to keep the site working, remember your preferences, and understand aggregate site usage.
Information from third parties
- Insurance carriers, quoting engines, and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) systems used to process quotes and enrollments.
- Referral partners who introduce you to us with your consent.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiry and provide the insurance guidance you requested.
- Quote, compare, and (with your permission) enroll you in insurance products offered by third-party carriers.
- Communicate with you about your policy, renewals, plan changes, Annual Enrollment Period reviews, and related service matters.
- Comply with legal, regulatory, and carrier obligations, including CMS Medicare Marketing Guidelines, state insurance department rules, and HIPAA.
- Maintain records required by law and improve our services.
Scope of Appointment (Medicare). If you are a Medicare-eligible beneficiary, CMS requires that we obtain a documented Scope of Appointment before discussing Medicare Advantage or Prescription Drug Plans with you. Completing our contact form is not a Scope of Appointment; it is a request to be contacted.
3. TCPA Consent for Communications
By submitting your phone number or email through this site, you consent to receive calls, texts, and emails from United Angels Insurance Agency about the coverage you inquired about, including from automated telephone dialing systems and prerecorded messages. Message and data rates may apply. Your consent is not a condition of purchasing any insurance product. You can opt out at any time by replying "STOP" to a text, clicking "unsubscribe" in an email, or contacting us directly.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to serve you and only with parties bound by confidentiality or law:
- Insurance carriers whose plans you request quotes for or enroll in.
- Quoting, CRM, and enrollment platforms we use to serve clients (for example, Spark Advisors, Sunfire, Connecture, and similar CMS-approved tools).
- Service providers who host our website, send email, or provide analytics under written data-protection agreements.
- Regulators and law enforcement when required by law, subpoena, or a valid governmental request.
- Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy.
5. HIPAA and Health Information
Health information collected in connection with health insurance (Medicare, ACA, ancillary health products) is treated as Protected Health Information under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act ("HIPAA"). We follow HIPAA's Privacy and Security Rules, limit use of PHI to what is necessary to serve you, and require our downstream vendors to do the same.
6. Data Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information — including encrypted storage, restricted access, and secure carrier portals. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we ever experience a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
7. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as needed to provide services to you and to satisfy legal, tax, insurance-carrier, and CMS record-retention requirements — typically at least ten (10) years for Medicare enrollment records. When retention is no longer required, we securely destroy or de-identify the information.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion, subject to legal and carrier retention requirements.
- Opt out of marketing calls, texts, and emails.
- Withdraw consent for future communications (this does not affect prior lawful processing).
Florida residents and residents of other states with privacy statutes may have additional rights. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at fadavis12@gmail.com or (912) 327-3211.
9. Cookies and Analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences (such as light/dark mode) and to understand aggregate site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect site functionality.
10. Children's Privacy
Our services are directed to adults who are eligible to purchase insurance. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Third-Party Links
Our website may link to third parties (such as Medicare.gov, carrier websites, and Calendly). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be posted here and, where required, communicated to you directly.
